Full sheet of eight uncut handbills for the World Heavyweight Championship fight in Madison Square Garden on Monday, March 8, 1971. It was one of the most anticipated showdowns since Joe Louis fought Max Schmeling. The public view of Muhammad Ali was a draft-dodging Muslim, while Joe Frazier was touted as the conscientious Bible-toting citizen. Ali was challenging the current undefeated champion as an undefeated former champion. Each boxing handbill displays photos of Ali and Frazier and emphasizes “No Radio, No Home TV.” Sheet is EX-MT.
