New York City Basketball Hall of Fame Award Presented to Ossie Schectman

This impressive award was presented to Oscar "Ossie" Schetman who made history as the first person to score a basket in a NBA game. With a ball and hoop design, the award is engraved on the net "5th Annual Induction Ceremony / September 28, 1994 / Ossie Schectman /Player." Along with other former Knicks, Ernie Grunfeld, Bernard King, and Cal Ramsey, and Claude (Red) Phillips, Schetman was enshrined into the New York City Basketball HOF.
