Rare Velvet Underground Concert Poster
The creation of Lou Reed and John Cale, the Velvet Underground was one of the most influential rock bands of all-time. And this terrific concert poster promotes an Andy Warhol event in Manchester, England, on October 23, 1971. Unrestored and mounted on linen, the 31.25" x 21.5" placard promises a late bar, disco, and advertises an accompanying light show which we think was the famous Exploding Plastic Inevitable but we do not believe they were with them at that time. What else could a Manchester University student want back in the day?
