Rock 'n' Roll & Music Memorabilia (13)
I just love these lots! Especially the Rock N' Roll as the material is so understated and rare. Each item is a treasure in it's own right, including: 1-3) Three Elvis Presley 1977 unused Ticketron tickets; two are for a concert which never happened because Elvis died three days before. Both are for Utica Memorial Auditorium and are dated August 19, 1977. The third did occur, March 29, 1977, at Ripides Parish Coliseum in Alexandria, LA. All three are EX-MT. 4-5) Bill Hayley & The Comets pin and Decca publicity card, both circa 1955. The pinback button is celluloid, and measures about 1.75" and the card is 3.5x5.5", condition is EX+. 6-9) Beatles collection of four - A collection within a collection. Four interesting Beatles 1964 items including a colorful silk scarf with repeating images of the Fab Four interspersed with records of all their different songs measures 24x25". Then, three pieces of jewelry including a celluloid and gold metal trimmed button with a full color image of the boys in their Nehru jackets (1" in diameter), a book pin appealing and vintage (2"), and a brass key chain (1" in diameter).
