"The Man Killer" Tunney vs. Dempsey by Joseph Golinkin
Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney are forever linked in fistic history. They fought two fights with Tunney coming out on top including the famous "Long Count" fight of 1927. Artist Joseph Golinken has captured the fierce competition between these two in this limited edition lithograph depicting Dempsey landing a vicious punch on Tunney. Although not numbered, this is a limited edition of 50. Bold, clear image with some age spotting. 14.75" x 19" lithograph framed to 20" x 25". This particular work of Golinken is very limited and is signed by the artist. Circa 1927. From the collection of Bert Sugar.
