A great collection remembering one of the most important moments in African American history. Thurgood Marshall, the first African-American Supreme Court Justice, is given intimate and nuanced attention in this assemblage that numbers over forty in total. Amongst the sepia and black-and-white photos, many of them show Marshall with his wife and two boys. Also included is a political cartoon addressing how long it took the US government to appoint an African-American to the Supreme Court. Varies in size, though are mostly 10x8"s. In overall EX condition.
