Three Nice Items from the Harry Heilmann Collection

Splendid trio of keepsakes from the Harry Heilmann Collection. 1) Statement from Chicago Mayor Edward Kelly regarding baseball and listening to Harry Heilmann on station WXYZ; signed by Kelly on Office of the Mayor stationery, typewritten, has mailing folds. 2) Circa 1930s studio photo by Champlain Studios, measures 7x9" in original protective cover. 3) 1940s Goebel Bee framed advertising sign featuring Heilmann. Measures 12.5x14.5", frame has "Your Goebel Reporter" painted on bottom, ad itself has a few areas of wear and staining at bottom edge. All were the personal property of the Hall of Famer, who won four batting titles in 17 seasons before spending another 17 as the play-by-play voice of the Detroit Tigers.
