Three Rare Ty Cobb Decal Bats

Three Rare Ty Cobb Decal Bats

Individually, each of these items is special, but all three great and rare Ty Cobb decal bats are featured in this lot. 1) Youth bat, 31" and 26 oz, model 40 T.C.J. The barrel decal has an illustration of Cobb on a green background, and wording stating that Cobb, "Broke all Batting Records with Louisville Slugger." 2) The full model of the previous bat, this 40 T.C. is a hefty 36" and 37 oz., and the colorful red, white and blue decal depicts Cobb while stating that he, "Has Led the American League Six Years with This Model." 3) WB Jarvis model 100, 40oz and 34", has a yellow decal with no illustration but a simulated signature, noting that the brand is from Detroit and Grand Rapids, Michigan. These dark-grained beauties display some age but surprisingly little in the way of chips or marks. These incredibly rare bats range from 1910s to early 1920s.
