Six original art drawings, all pertaining to track and field and averaging 14x20", comprise this lot: 1) 1950 "Tenth Annual Coliseum Relays Track Official Los Angles Memorial Coliseum May 18th, 1950" with great artwork by Manning. Shows shattering of old records featuring an old victrola and sports fan. Comes with matching silk official's ribbon. The remainder are original artworks. 2-6) All are by the great Earl Willis (although one is unsigned). They are of Pete Snell, Dick Attlesey, two beauties of Jim Ryun, and one of the immortal Kipchoge Keino of Kenya. All are 1950s and 1960s, great cartoon artwork from the archives of West Coast newspapers. From the collection of the Helms Hall Sports Museum and will come with letter of provenance/authenticity from Lelands.com.
