Tris Speaker Signed Government Postcard

Tris Speaker Signed Government Postcard

Perhaps the best signature ever of perhaps the best centerfielder ever, Tris Speaker, whose bat did a lot of speaking -- racking up a .344 lifetime average in his HOF career with the Red Sox and Indians. The Gray Eagle graced Jim Davidson’s nonpareil gallery of government postcards with a dazzlingly crystal clear autograph in blue pen -- no less than a perfect 10/10! Card is postmarked March 4, 1952 from Tucson, AZ, when Speaker was 64. Card itself is EX+ and has a vintage Speaker picture to the left of his signature.
