Two Different Huebach Baseball Figures

Two Different Huebach Baseball Figures

Two rosy-cheeked, 19th Century Heubach figures of a baseball player, each in different hand-painted uniforms, and though posed for timber in hands, one of the figurines is missing a bat, while the other includes a reproduced wood bat. These German figurines are only slightly different in size, measuring 9 ?”, and each has been stamped by the manufacturer and are hollow inside. One is EX-MT+, while the other (with red striped jersey top) has minor chips at the base, otherwise EX-MT.
