Wayne Gretzky’s 215th Point & Paul Coffey’s 48th Goal Milestone Display with Pucks from the Photo Shoot!
The last game of the Edmonton Oilers’ 1985-86 season was a monster. Not only did Wayne Gretzky rack up his 215th point of the year (a record that will never be touched!), but Paul Coffey also scored his 47th and 48th goals surpassing the previous record for defensemen held by the great Bobby Orr. A fantastic 12x15” photo of the pair posed with pucks commemorating the dual effort is matted in this amazing display. And to each side, the actual pucks from the photo! Oilers team photographer Bob Mummery captured all of the team’s milestone moments during his time in Edmonton. This pair of official Oilers Inglasco game pucks with decals proclaiming “48 Goals” and “215 Points” was fashioned for the historic event and has become an integral part of the photographic history of these two great players. Also included within the blue suede display are a commemorative Wayne Gretzky coin in gold and silver plate, a perfectly Gretzky signature and a pair of plaques detailing the stellar seasons for both of these superstars. Matted size is 22x27”. From noted collector and former Edmonton Oilers team photographer Bob Mummery.
