Syracuse, N.Y. -- A few more football mileposts along the football life of Syracuse legend Ernie Davis are now up for sale.
Leland’s is auctioning off four items from Davis’ career in its Fall 2019 Classic. Bidding runs through Dec. 6.
Here’s what’s on the block:
An autographed football
Current bid: $1,000
Description: The ball reads, “- 44 - Ernie Davis - Syracuse” on same panel as the Davis signature. The back panel features a handwritten “Feb. 3, 1962” and “Rock Pirro” in black.
