Signed document from our 17th U.S. President is a patent for William Black's improvement to the plough. Dated October 4, 1831, the partially printed document is signed in bold black fountain pen by Andrew Jackson at bottom. Signature grades as an 8.5 out of a possible 10. Document is trimmed to 10.75x13.5". Slight tone and small pinholes on left side. VG+.
