1945 Atomic Bomb Presentation Book
Incredibly rare 21x18" book was presented to those that worked on the Manhattan Project or were involved in the dropping of the bombs. Consists of incredible, huge photos of the atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima & Nagasaki taken by the 20th Air Force 3rd Photo Reconnaissance Squadron. These pre-strike, strike, and post-strike mosaics and pinpoints of both Hiroshima and Nagasaki capture the sheer magnitude and destructive power of the atomic bomb. Exceptional resolution! Book includes maps and statistical summaries. Measures18x21". Condition is EX. One of only two we know to exist.
