1875 Silver Adorned Presentation Baseball Bat

1875 Silver Adorned Presentation Baseball Bat

Fresh to the market and one of the finest silver adorned bats we have ever offered, this hefty model bears a plate indicating it originates from "Twilight versus Alpha, Patterson June 5, 1875, score 20 to 9." Dating from the era before the formation of the Major Leagues, this massive 38" long club features two heavy figural locked sterling silver bands with a beautiful Victorian capper on the top in figural silver. The small knobbed handle is very typical of the period and this is a very luxurious piece; judging by the quality this must have been a major team. Composed of ebony wood, its bright finish practically glistens and this precious artifact rates in EX condition.
