19th Century "Our Nine" Cigar Box Inner Label
Measuring 8x5.75", this insert features a color lithoed scene of an 1870s baseball game in progress. This is actually an unused sample and lists the prices for inner and outer labels at the bottom border. It has a few repaired tears and a number of chips around the edges, but the paper stock shows little, if any, discoloration and the image, titled "OUR NINE," remains especially crisp and colorful considering the vintage. A very beautiful and rare piece.
