1877 James Garfield Letter

Dated "October16th, 1877" and written on the reverse side of a hand bill from the "Official Congressional Directory" the letter's subject matter pertains to Garfield's address and family listing within the directory. "My residence at 1227 8 Street, my wife and two other ladies will be with me. But my home residence is no longer in Miram, but Mentor Lake, Ohio." His signature along with the letter Light paper loss does not interfere or detract from the overall appearance of the bold NRMT ink.
