1880's Pach Brothers Imperial Cabinet

1880's Pach Brothers Imperial Cabinet

The Pach Brothers Photography Studio is one of the oldest photographic firms in business in New York City, having begun operations in 1867. They shot both the famous as well as the ordinary. People involved in business, government, medicine, law, education, and the arts, as well as thousands of students, families and children, pretty much anyone who would sit for Pach cameras beginning in 1866. This is a gorgeous, crystal clear photograph taken by the Pach Brothers of a team of young men who attended the Gaulden School of New York in the 1880’s. They are dressed in traditional football uniforms, stripped undershirts with lace up jerseys. This photo is in excellent condition. 14" x 11".
