1880 "Old Time G" Baseball Cigar Box
This cigar box and inner label for the 'Old Time G' brand features baseball players and a hat-adorned cherubic female portrait. Getty Images attributes a similar oval "Old Time G'" cigar label to "Harris Publishers January 01, 1880 Philadelphia, PA." Tax stamp annotated is later, dated 1901. We wonder if the "G" in "Old Time G" Stands for "Gangster." There is some water damage and wear, measures 8.5x5x2.5".
