1880s Harwood & Sons Baseball Egypt Factory Real Photo Lithotype

1880s Harwood & Sons Baseball Egypt Factory Real Photo Lithotype

Exceptional early 1880s image of the first baseball sporting goods factory in America. Published by the "Lithotype Printing Co. 114 Nassau St. New York" it is a "real photo" (Type I) mounted on a beautiful cardboard mount. The only historic baseball one was from a series of New England views. Similar in content, but of churches & other buildings of Massachusetts. This is the first we have seen of this factory filled with treasures of the past, but this piece is a treasure itself. Some foxing, otherwise EX-MT.
