Simply the best specimen we have ever handled in our 40+ years. Fresh to the market specimen from a celebrated folk art and cast iron collection where it has lain dormant for decades. Incredible "Dark Town Battery" works like a dream and has 95% of the original paint which is about as high as it goes. Unlike many of its contemporaries, this bank has not been restored. All original paint, the original metal plug, and toughest of all the original unbroken bat. To work the bank, place the coin in the pitchers hand and pull back his arm. Then, push the button next to the catcher to release the pitchers arm and activate the bat and coin slot: the coin will be tossed into the slot and you will swoon.
