1892 Binghamton Bingos Cabinet Photo with Wee Willie Keeler
Long before the Binghamton Mets joined the Eastern League, there were the Binghamton Bingos, who played around the turn of the last century. Here's an exceptionally rare, vintage photo of the team, taken at a studio named McCarthy. Future Hall of Fame outfielder "Wee Willie" Keeler is pictured here at age 20, just months before his big-league debut with the New York Giants. This is the earliest baseball picture of Keeler that we have seen. There is minor soiling to the mount but is otherwise graded EX+.
