For the fourth time in seven seasons, the Yankees defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1953 World Series, breaking rival hearts to repeat as champions. Here's a matched pair of tickets with consecutive set numbers from the Game 6 clincher, won by the Bombers in dramatic fashion thanks to Billy Martin drilling a Clem Labine sinker up the middle for the winning single in the bottom of the ninth. There is some staining on the back of the tickets but they still grade VG-EX.
