1910s New York City Mayor William Gaynor First Pitch Photograph (PSA Type I)

1910s New York City Mayor William Gaynor First Pitch Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photograph capturing New York City Mayor William Gaynor throwing out the ceremonial first pitch of the game. Gaynor was Mayor of New York City from 1910 to 1913, but unfortunately it is not known at which of the three New York Major League Stadiums this photo was taken. Two Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with Gaynor's name written in pencil. The photo (6.75x4.5") displays a diagonal crease in the upper right corner and a slight trim along the top and right borders. In Good condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
