Circa 1910 Construction of the Titanic Photograph (PSA Type I)

Circa 1910 Construction of the Titanic Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photograph of the RMS Titanic under construction. The undated photo captures the vessel in the early stages of construction as it is being framed at the shipyard. Obviously, this is one of earliest photos ever taken of the ill fated ship and from this perspective the workers look like proverbial "ants" against its mammoth frame. Two Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse. The photo (6.5x8") displays a slight trim along the top border and a tiny interior tear (no paper loss), neither of which detract from its overall Excellent appearance. Culled from the Legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
