1915 "Pennant" Cigars Cigar Box - World Champion Boston Red Sox with Babe Ruth Influence

1915 "Pennant" Cigars Cigar Box - World Champion Boston Red Sox with Babe Ruth Influence

Offered is a wooden cigar box with "Pennant" burned into the top for the days when the "Babe" created the legend that would become the curse. There is an inner label of a pennant with superior graphics and ornate imagery and a similar side label. Condition is really nice with a bit of wear to the side label, which is from Springfield, Mass. Tax stamp date appears to be 1915 - the "5" is tough to make out but this is definitely 1910s. Furthermore, it is in October, right after they won the pennant led by a rookie Ruth. Measures 6.5x5.25x3". From the finest collection of baseball and sports cigar boxes ever to be offered for public auction.
