1916 Joe Jackson Signed Mortgage Voucher (PSA & JSA)
<p>On the 100th Anniversary of the 1919 Black Sox Scandal, here is one of the most sought after signatures in sports history. "Shoeless" Joe Jackson was one of the greatest players of his time. Joe was banned from baseball along with seven other White Sox accused of intentionally losing the 1919 World Series. This rarity is a Joe Jackson signed voucher of a mortgage payment made by the White Sox. It is dated February 28th, 1916 in Savannah, Ga and paid to the order of the Savannah Realty Investment Corporation and value received and charge the same to the account of Harry Grabiner, Secy. Chicago White Sox. This is a scarce piece of baseball history. It is in very good to excellent condition with two minor vertical folds and a tiny chip on the right edge. It has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.</p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium;">2019 marks the 100th Anniversary of the most infamous scandal in sports history. The 1919 World Series was the scene of the crime, the culprits were eight members of the Chicago “Black Sox” and the crime was game fixing.
