Arnold Rothstein Signed Stock Agreement 1919 "Black Sox" Mastermind (Beckett LOA)

Historically significant 1922 stock agreement signed by Arnold Rothstein and his business partner, A.L Libman. Rothstein was a noted racketeer and gambler who was implicated in "fixing" sporting events, including the infamous 1919 "Black Sox" World Series. Signed by both Rothstein with handwritten notes and edits throughout the agreement, it has "Rothstein’s Copy" handwritten on the front. Part of the content indicates that 50% of the company goes to Rothstein and it's signed on the 10th page by both. Very good to Excellent condition with minor tear to right cover edge, the lot also comes with three gambling chips from Rothstein's casino. Though he did bet heavily and win against the White Sox in that 1919 Series, Rothstein maintained his innocence in coordinating the scandal and was never indicted as prosecutors were unable to find evidence linking him to the events leading to the lifetime banishment of eight White Sox players. Comes with Beckett LOA.

2019 marks the 100th Anniversary of the most infamous scandal in sports history.
