<p>Straight from Joe Jackson's personal scrapbook comes this remarkable collection of Jackson specific ephemera including: 1) Page from Joe Jackson's scrapbook containing a maintaining "innocence" letter from an old friend; 2) large 1919 World Series White Sox and Reds "Our Base-Ball Uniforms" clothiers advertisement in cardboard; 3) 1939 letter to Joe Jackson; 4) 1923 letter to Joe Jackson asking him to play in a series of games in Alabama; 5) Two letters to Mrs. Joe Jackson following Joe's death in December 1951; 6) 1950 letter to Joe Jackson from a reporter thanking him for giving him a story; 7) Telegrams to and from Eddie Cicotte; and 8) Famous small vintage photo of Kenesaw Mountain Landis with the Black Sox in a 1920 courtroom trying to get their contract money reinstated.</p><p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">2019 marks the 100th Anniversary of the most infamous scandal in sports history. The 1919 World Series was the scene of the crime, the culprits were eight members of the Chicago “Black Sox” and the crime was game fixing. Shoeless Joe Jackson and seven other members of the “Black Sox” were subsequently banned from baseball three years later and that ban still stands to this day.
