1920s Carnival Art Hand Painted Folk Art Wood Clock
A fun item from the early days of cinema and vaudeville, this item hung at sideshows to display the time of the next performance, and it also could have been used in a silent show movie theater. The "watch" stands 19" tall and includes faux bell and clapper in wood to make the sign look even more like a working model. We've never seen anything quite like this hand-painted and hand-carved artifact, which comes with clock hands that can be set manually and a hook at top for hanging. A fun piece of Americana.
