1920s Miller Huggins Baseball Cigar Box

1920s Miller Huggins Baseball Cigar Box

This vintage cigar box is from the 1920s, during Miller Huggins' stint as manager of the New York Yankees, with Babe Ruth as his star player. "MIller Huggins" is engraved in the top with baseball and bats, the inside label is an interesting "MIller Huggins" art deco logo with two matching side labels. It's missing a piece of the tax stamp but all three Miller labels are intact, the outside labels are slightly faded compared to the inner label. One of the most important boxes we've seen, it measures 6.75x4.75x3". From the finest collection of baseball and sports cigar boxes ever to be offered for public auction.
