1924-1936 Fred Lauer Olympic Outfits & Autograph Books
Fred Lauer, member of four consecutive U.S. Olympic water polo teams, donned these items during the '36 Games: Blue wool sweater with Olympic shield and bottoms, made by Spalding. 2) Three navy blue Spalding tanktops with felt "IAC" patch on chest. 3) Navy swimsuit with U.S.A. shield patch on chest. 4) Red and white swimcap. Also included is Fred's extensive autograph collection amassed during competition with mnedalists such as: Jesse Owens, Towns, C. Johnson, Wykoff, O'Brien, Parker, Morgan Hardin, Metcalfe, Woodruff, and Morris.
