The event was somewhat soured by the violence that occurred at the Israeli athletes’ quarters, but the flame of goodwill, that was carried along its route by this fantastic torch, still burned bright. “Munich 1972 Games of the XX Olympiad” engraved (in German) on handle. Handsome chrome torch, measures 29” long. Manufacturer’s logo and “Krupp” is on the base. Condition is EX –MT.
