1928 Richard Nixon (and more!) Signed High School Yearbook
Watergate was still over four decades away when the young Tricky Dick signed this fascinating copy of Fullerton (CA.) Union High School's yearbook "Pleiades." He's pictured a few times within the 150+ page hardcover volume, most notably as a member of the Forensics club, where his perfect pencil signature joins a most recognizable image. Amazingly, this school also housed three other soon-to-be-famous students: Willard Hershberger (Major League ballplayer who committed suicide), Arky Vaughan (HOF ballplayer) and Clarence Fender (father of Fender guitars). The former two have also signed this volume (Hershberger's sig is very tough). Great photos of all three as well. A fascinating volume, in VG-EX condition overall, with all signatures NRMT.
