1933 Mickey Mouse Animated Electric Clock in Rare Original Popup Box w/Hang Tags
Hey, Mickey! This classic old clock featuring the most famous Disney character of all-time was manufactured by Ingersoll in 1933 and measures 4.5x4.5" with metal case and colorfully illustrated original box with die-cut lid. The lid features a large image of Mickey, three side panels with multiple images of Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Horace and Clarabelle. The clock face features a separate tin Mickey figure whose hands point at the numerals and whose body is designed to rotate as the seconds tick, though this particular model is not functioning. Three sides of the clock have glossy paper bands featuring character images matching those on the box sides. The clock and labels are NM, and there are two rare original hang tags and instructions. There is creasing to the box top and minor defects but complete. A magnificent piece of Americana!
