1935 Negro National League Philadelphia Stars vs. Newark Dodgers Broadside
This is a seldom-seen 1935 Negro National League broadside poster promoting the Philadelphia Stars vs. the Newark Dodgers. It reads, "Negro National League Presenting Nashville Elite Giants Versus," with space below, presumably for writing or posting game information. From the Exhibitors Program Co., Pittsburgh, PA, it measures 22x28". While it does have tears on the left and bottom borders, despite some other minor flaws, this is an amazing original. Memorabilia from the Negro Leagues is scarce and sought-after; this is one of two in the collection, the other was in the last auction.
