1939 Louis Armstrong + Big Band Leaders Signed Photos (19)
Conjuring memories of the Big Band Era of the 1930 and '40s, offered here is a marvelous collection of all signed photos. Best of all is a beautiful Louis Armstrong signed 8x10" advertising photo noting, "Louis Armstrong plays Selmer Trumpet Exclusively." Other highlights include: Lawrence Welk (RPPC), Artie Shaw (RPPC), Eddy Duchin, Tommy Dorsey, Jack Teagarden, Ted Weems (2), Tiny Hill, and Jack Teagarden "Yours for the Blues" menu from his Blackhawk Restaurant performances. Plus, Raymond Scott (Looney Tunes), Freddy Martin (2), Lou Breese, Bobby Byrne, Johnny Messner, Bighton Noble, Bill Carlsen, and Al Trace. Some have pinholes but most are otherwise in EX condition.
