1940 Clarke Hinkle Green Bay Packers Award
A college and pro football Hall of Famer, Clarke Hinkle played tailback and linebacker from 1932 to 1941. Near the end of his career, his team honored him with this wood-based award that, curiously, has his first name misspelled. There are two photos of Hinkle posing that adorn brass plates on the top, along with a plaque that reads: "CLARK HINKLE LEADERSHIP, INTEGRITY AND SPORTSMANSHIP GREEN BAY PACKERS DEC. 10, 1940." Measures roughly 18" x 15" and is in EX condition. Not an overly tall man, Hinkle was considered to be one of the most physical players of the 1930s as he was a workhorse running back and a savage blocker.
