Immortalized in the hit movie "A League of Their Own," this great selection of schedule cards and programs is from the original All Amercian Girls Professional Baseball League. Included are: 1-5) Schedules (5); 1944 League, 1945 League, 1950 Grand Rapids Chicks, 1950 Kenosha Comets, Grand Rapids Chicks (no year listed). 6-16) Programs/Yearbooks (10) include: Kenosha Comets programs (two - no year listed), generic AAGPBL (appears to be 1946), 1946 Fort Wayne Daisies yearbook, 1949 Muskegon Lassies yearbook, 1945 South Bend Blue Sox yearbook, three (3) Racine Belles yearbooks (1944, '45, and '49), Rockford Peaches program (undated). 16) One additional amazing item is a typed letter dated April 13, 1954, stating the dire straits of the league entering what would be its final season. This treasure trove averages EX+ condition, and the letter - with mailing folds - marks a significant moment in baseball history.
