2001 Japanese MVP Presented to Frank Bolick for His Grand Slam Against the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks

2001 Japanese MVP Presented to Frank Bolick for His Grand Slam Against the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks

After a pair of brief stints in the majors, Frank Bolick took his trade to the Far East, enjoying success in Japan as just one of two foreigners to earn All-Star accolades in 2000. This beautiful plaque was awarded to Bolick as the Most Valuable Player for the month of July, 2001, after hitting eight homers in an 18-game span, the highlight of which was a "saynoara" grand slam as his Chiba Lotte team earned a 10-9 walkoff victory. The wood-framed plaque measures 12x16" with red felt background, and plates bearing the details in Japanese. The hanging ribbon is slightly faded but the award is NRMT and displays gorgeously.
