1940s George Mikan Minneapolis Lakers Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photograph of Hall of Fame center George Mikan as a member of the Minneapolis Lakers. Mikan is captured in action as he rises to the hoop during pregame warmups. Two Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with a partial label and editorial notations. The photo (7.5x9.5") displays several moderate-to-heavy creases, a small area of paper loss at the base, and adhesive residue on the reverse. Good condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archives. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
