1940s Minneapolis Millers Jersey Vaugan in Collar and Game Used Bat
This lot includes a 1940s Minneapolis Millers game used jersey and bat. The gray wool flannel road jersey has MILLERS across the front and number 8 on the back, both in red on blue felt. There is a Wilson label in the collar, along with a Lowe & Campbell Athletic Goods label and a size 42 tag. A patch with the name "Vaugan" is sewn below the labeling. There are several small brown spots on the back near the collar yoke, and two small holes (moths?) in the front. The game used bat is a Louisville Slugger Fred Vaughn signature model measuring 35" in length and weighing 32 oz. The bat is cracked, and has had tape removed from the cracked area on the handle.
