1951 Ted Williams "At Bat" Film Negative

Original film negative capturing Ted Williams at bat during a game in 1951. Williams is pictured in his follow-through swing as his eyes follow the flight of the ball. Although no date is listed, the American League 50th Anniversary patch on Williams' left sleeve was worn by every American League team only in 1951. The notation "Ted Williams Batting" is written in black ink along the top border. The negative (7x5") remains in Excellent condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive.
