1957 Jack Dempsey "Golden Deed Citation" Trophy (20" tall)
Attractive golden cup trophy on podium was presented to Jack Dempsey in 1957 for his contribution to victims of Cerebral Palsy. Front is nicely engraved, “Golden Deed Citation 1957 United Cerebral Palsy of Jacksonville, Fla. award to Jack Dempsey by your unselfish and devoted service you have kindled new hope for America’s Cerebral Palsied children and adults.” Below is engraved the names and positions held of the committee: “Bob Hope, Life Chairman; Roger S. Firestone, President; Charles W. Bostwick, President; Board of Directors Crusade Telethon, May 25-26, 1957.” Some tarnishing, o/w EX.
