1961 Minnesota Twins Welcome Banner
This rare cloth banner dates from the Minnesota Twins' first appearance in Minnesota in 1961. The team appeared at the Leamington Hotel in Minneapolis, and this red, white and blue banner with gold fringe trim greeted them with "Welcome Minnesota Twins." The stenciled-on Twins logo in the center of the banner shows substantial paint loss; otherwise, this 8 x 3" banner has retained its bright colors and is in excellent condition.
