1964 Boston Celtics 7 Times World Champions Award Presented to Frank Ramsey
One of the most cherished awards ever issued, this sterling sliver tray celebrates a very important period in Celtics and Boston Sports history. Given to players who were on all seven Celts NBA Championship teams in the late 1950s and early '60s, this was awarded to Hall of Famer Frank Ramsey, who was an integral part of that dynasty. The 10.5" in diameter plate by Gorham is stamped on the back, and in the center in raised lettering is "BOSTON CELTICS WORLD CHAMPIONS 7 TIMES" with a green enamel shamrock in the center. Around the rim, the years are engraved -1957, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964. "NBA BASKETBALL 1964" is also engraved as this simple, yet majestic piece is in EX condition and comes with LOA from Frank Ramsey, who was considered the first "sixth man" in NBA history, providing key depth in Boston's dominant run.
