Frank Ramsey 1982 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Trophy (Frank Ramsey LOA)
Offered here is the actual Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame trophy presented to Frank Ramsey, the legendary Boston Celtic, at the 1981 Induction Ceremony. This standout Hall of Fame guard played his entire career with the Celts. Playing a major role in their early dynasty, he won an amazing SEVEN NBA CHAMPIONSHIPS, and his number 23 was retired by the franchise in 1964. Composite trophy stands 20" tall, and a figural piece depicts the spire located outside of the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. The base features two plaques reading “Frank Ramsey," and “Class of 1982.” The top of the base reads “NAISMITH MEMORIAL BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME ENSHRINEE” in relief, artist signed by "B. Hanlon." In EX-MT condition and obtained directly from Frank Ramsey, this is one of the most stellar basketball pieces to own and very few have reached the open market.
