1965 Zoilo Versalles Autographed Minnesota Twins Game Used Jersey and Pants

1965 Zoilo Versalles Autographed Minnesota Twins Game Used Jersey and Pants

Shortstop and 1965 American League Most Valuable Player Zoilo Versalles played for the Minnesota Twins from 1961 through 1967, and wore this 1965 jersey during the season that saw the Twins reach the World Series. The pinstriped flannel button-front jersey has Twins across the front and Versalles' number 2 on the back. There is a Wilson size 40 label on the front left tail above a "1965-1-40" swatch; Versalles is chain-stitched on another swatch sewn in the collar. A Twins patch appears on the left sleeve, and Versalles has signed the right front of the jersey above the letters in blue pen. You'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer jersey; talk about rare and it's signed to boot! All original. The pants, from another player, are Wilson size 36. A swatch in the waistband reads "71-44-PT64-25" Set 1"; the number 32 is written three times around the waistband in black marker.
