1968 Planet of the Apes "Statue of Liberty" Poster Proof
It is one of the most memorable images in cinematic history, and this tremendous 36x57" poster shows the schematic of the final scene of original 1968 Planet of the Apes. Dated February 6th, 1967, this never seen poster is a behind the scenes production piece detailing the scale of the Statue of Liberty reveal from that epic final scene. It bears the names of artist Peter Kelly, and Art Director William Creber in the stamp of 20th Century Fox Film Corp. Some typical yellowing with age, but this remains a magnificent and unusual piece.
